Review: This restaurant has an old fashioned supper
club atmosphere that is not like any other in Southern California. The
service is incredible, led by Maitre'd Mark Garcia, who knows most of
his guests by name. It has a comfortable bar, and offers dancing to live
music nightly.
The menu has a nice variety of fresh seafood and grilled meats,
prepared by Chef de Cuisine Jim Strausbaugh. It offers Kumamoto Oysters
on the half shell with Russian Vodka Mignonette, Ahi Carpaccio with Wasabi
Caviar and Crispy Artichokes, as well as the Pistachio Crusted Chilean
Sea Bass (the Signiature dish). There is also a tender Filet Mignon, a
huge N.Y. Steak, and a tasty Ale Marinated Rib Eye.
The Club Grill and Bar is expensive, but well worth it for a romantic
evening of fine dining and dancing.
They also offer an award winning wine list.
