Your Review: The Cellar has won many well-deseved awards, including The Grand Award
from The Wine Spectator for The Cellar's selection of more than 1200 wines from 15
countries around the world. I have to say that I am partial to the romantic ambiance of
The Cellar's below-ground cave-live setting. Quiet and low-lighted describe The Cellar's
dining areas. The service is very upscale and personal with Sean Lewis as the Maitre de,
and begins with the valet parking. The prices are moderate for upscale fine french
cuisine. The Cellar's romantic ambiance can bring back a romance to relationship or
marriage that was maybe forgotten, or simply turn up the gas on a burning flame. The
French flare of The Cellar fuels this "Je t'aime" atmosphere. I encourage anyone
to not just go to The Cellar, but experience The Cellar.

Your Review: This is my favorite restraunant in Orange County. Located in the
cellar of an historic old building in downtown Fullerton, it is a very comfortable classic
dining room. Not a really large menu, but excellant choices, and I have never had one that
wasn't very good. Fine service, with two excelllant maitre'ds. Shawn, one of them was at
the old Chez Cary in Orange for many years. The wine list is one of only approx. 100 Grand
Award winners worldwide from Wine Spectator. It is very seldom crowded here, so it is very
possible to relax and enjoy a long evening of superb dining at your own pace. Not cheap,
but worth every penny.
