Your Review: You must go for the experience! The bar serves wonderful
tasting smoothies and the bar stools are that of animal legs. The servers
are anxious to serve you and always have recommendations. If you love
spicy, you have to try the Maya Pastalaya.

Your Review: This restaurant is clearly directed to kids.
The interior is decorated as if you are eating in a forest. This very
busy interior includes extensive use of plastic flowers and leaves.
There is a clever use of falling water, both at the exterior to draw customers
and in the interior in the form of a large water fall. There are animated
elephants, gorillas, butterflies and other monkeys. Animation is
roughly done, nowhere near the quality of current theme park standards,
but very intertaining to kids. The sound system accompanying the
animation was adequate. The food was very good - tasty and served hot.
Portions were generous, larger than the competition from say Mimi's or
Planet Hollywood.
The restaurant interior had a curious smell that was very unsettling.
We wondered if it was a product of all the water and plastic plants, or
if it was a warning of a health problem.
Also detracting from the experience was the extreme noise level.
The combination of falling water, taped jungle background noises, occasional
animation sound tracks and noisy, excited kids made the dinner experience
unpleasant.
Overall, Rain Forest Cafe is a must to bring your elementary school aged
kids to exactly one time!!! The noise, the smell, and the higher-than-average
prices do not encourage a return visit.
Avoid Rain Forest Cafe if you don't have kids in tow.
