review: When my wife and I first met (11 years ago), we used
to go here and loved it (such a romantic atmosphere) and the food
was wonderful. At the advice of friends, we decided to go back for
our anniversary. Boy was I disappointed!!! They sat us in the newer
room with the stage. The music (FAR-out jazz) was playing so loudly
we could hardly hear each other. I 'politely' asked if the waitress
who has been there for years and years would please turn it down
a little, and she told me "NO - that's how we like it."
WOW... The steaks were over-done and burnt tasting, and the service
was non-existant and impersonal. My wife and I both regretted spending
$70 on our special dinner at this run-down, servicless dive! Never
again - don't waist your time until they get new management. Try
something like Ruth Riss...yummmmmmmm
