review: I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, however the service left
a great deal to be desired. We waited 10 minutes after we were seated to obtain
menus, and drink orders were not taken until dinner was ordered. We receied
terrible service, and decided to speak to the manager. He was incredibly rude
and offered no suggestions to make our time more enjoyable. Name:

review: My boyfriend and I stopped into this restaurant before
going to see a concert at The Grove in Anaheim. We only picked this
restaurant because it was so close to the venue, but we were very pleasantly
suprised. The service was excellent (using the new "team service"
style
that many restaurants are now featuring) so we had at least three different
servers to ask for. We started with the alcoholic ice cream drinks and
were
not disapointed - I had the Orange Crush made with vanlla ice cream and
liqueurs and my boyfriend had the Banana ice cream drink. Both were
delicious. For the salad, I had the B&B which features butter lettuce
topped with vinaigrette and chunks of maytag bleu cheese....this is a
bleu
cheese lover's fantasy! The bread was served steaming hot with olive oil
and balsalmic vinegar. For the entrees, we had the New York Steak (full
cut
cooked medium well) which was accompanied by a very light steak sause,
creamy and cheesy scalloped potato!
s and steamed asparagus. All were excellent. The chilean sea bass,
however, took the prize that evening as it was cooked to perfection and
served over Thai rice. The flavors were just bursting out of this one.
Dinner was on the pricey side (sea bass about $25.00 and the NY steak
was
$32.00), but it was all well worth it. Our highest compliments go the
"The
Catch."

the service is great. But it took a little longer time to wait for the

Your Review: The Decor and dress of the staff bespeaks of a first
class restaurant. However, this is just a facade, at the time of our visit
the restaurant was not very busy (no more than six tables were occupied).
We had to chase down a waitor to get service. The waitor served me first
instead of my wife which is tacky to say the least. We were served entrees
before we had finished our salads and i had to clear my own salad dish
since the waitor decided to pose for pictures with another party. The
wines by the glass are outrageously priced for the caliber of wine served
however in fairness, the full bottle prices seem to be in line with other
restaurants. Lastly, at these prices one would expect to see fresh pepper
served with salads but alas bottled pepper is all that is available. Reviewed By: Guy Cooley - GuyFran@msn.com

Your Review: The night that I went for dinner, the Catch was extremely
busy do
to a Yanni concert in town at the Arrowhead Pond. I must say though
even with the extreme amount of customers the staff at this fine
restaurant did a wonderful job.Our food Server name was Shelly, her
knowledge of the menu and her service was outstanding. As for the meal
I had the Shrimp Wellington and my wife had the Halibut. On both of our
meals the amount of food we recived was just right and also the
presentation was superb. The average price for and entree looked to
be around the upper teens to middle twenty dollar range, which I felt
was definiatly not outragous do to the quality of the food and service.
I would definatly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great
food and wonderful service.
Also one more note... this restaurant is not
for from the Arrowhead Pond The night we went after your meal they would
bus you over with wine to the Pond and then pick you up and take you back
to the restaurant.I thought that was a great great service...

Dining establishments which encompass delicious food, pleasant ambience, courteous and
prompt service, all at a price
that doesn't break the pocketbook is a rare find. The Catch is such a restaurant.
Give it a try; you will not be disappointed.
Recommendations? Start with the seafood chowder ( large portion of fresh shrimp, clams,
white fish and vegetables in a thick and mildly
tangy broth ). For the main course, try the Mexican Seabass ( prepared with olive oil and
basil topped with a pesto sauce, served with
fresh steamed vegetables and a wonderful chunky garlic mashed potatoes ), or the Blackened
Prime Rib ( blackened in a white hot skillet
with cajun spices, then served with creamed spinach, cream of corn, red potatoes, seasoned
horse radish sauce, and au jus ).
